Camp Korey

New facilities strengthen Camp Korey’s ability to offer inclusive, life‑changing programs to children with serious medical conditions and their families.

This project supports Camp Korey’s 10‑year master plan, delivering new buildings and program spaces that directly support the camp’s mission. Improvements included a Recreation Center, a covered archery pavilion, a maintenance shop, upgrades to the Harnish Hive, three cabin foundations with roof and trim packages, an electrical utility structure, and foundation upgrades to Wizards Alley, a themed environment designed to spark creativity and imagination. These additions expand the campus’s ability to host inclusive, accessible programs that support campers with a wide range of medical needs.

Founded in 2005 in memory of Korey Rose, Camp Korey provides free and transformative camp experiences for children with serious medical conditions and their families. Located on a 200‑acre campus in Mount Vernon and a proud member of the SeriousFun Children’s Network, founded by Paul Newman, the camp offers year‑round programming, including residential camps, family weekends, reunions, and community‑based events that create moments of connection, healing, and joy for families facing significant challenges.
