The Podium

The Podium is a 135,000 SF indoor sports facility designed to host a wide range of competitive events. Its signature feature is a 200‑meter, six‑lane, hydraulically banked indoor track, complemented by a flexible field house that can accommodate 16 volleyball courts, nine basketball courts, or 21 wrestling mats. Support spaces tucked beneath the west‑side seating include a warm‑up track, coaches’ rooms, drug‑testing space, and ample equipment storage. An expansive dining area on the main level opens to city views through large glass walls, while the upper level provides fully equipped media and press areas ready for national broadcast coverage. The exterior is defined by a dramatic single‑slope roof supported by exposed steel trusses and wrapped with terra‑cotta‑colored perforated metal panels.
