Lydig Construction served as the general contractor for the new Costco Wholesale warehouse in Spring Valley, Nevada, a 161,000 SF facility on a 23-acre site at Buffalo Drive and Badura Avenue. The scope included full site development; earthwork, grading, utilities, storm-water systems, and infrastructure tie-ins along with construction of an on-site fuel station, tire center, and core retail building.
Lydig’s crews executed the delivery of the project under a tight schedule with stringent safety protocols. Throughout construction, Lydig coordinated with local agencies and trade partners to manage permitting, long-lead procurement, and infrastructure demands tied to the growing Spring Valley community. The project included hundreds of new parking stalls, traffic and pedestrian accommodations, and robust civil work to support Costco’s operational needs. Lydig’s efficient sequencing and construction expertise ensured the Costco was built on time, setting the stage for its planned opening in August 2025 and delivering a long-term retail asset for the Las Vegas Valley.
