Spokane Community College Science Center
This 65,000 SF, three-story building features 14 math and science classrooms and 13 life and physical science laboratories serving up to 920 students.
Instructors and staff will employ the 38 office spaces. The lobby features Spirals and Helixes: The Curves of Life, by artists from the Washington State Arts Commission’s Art in Public Places. Other features include suspended digital hallway clocks, red-light/green-light signaling system indicating when it’s appropriate to open windows given weather conditions, and motion-sensitive sensors for lighting.
