The Washington State University Wine Science Center is a purpose‑built teaching and research facility designed to support advanced instruction and applied research for Washington’s wine industry. Delivered using the Design‑Build delivery model, the center integrates research laboratories, classrooms, a fully equipped teaching and research winery, a two‑acre vineyard, and controlled greenhouses to support education across the full wine production lifecycle. The facility features a highly advanced fermentation control system and specialized infrastructure that enables precise research, process optimization, and workforce training. Together, these spaces create a comprehensive technical environment for educating students and supporting innovation within the state’s expanding wine science and viticulture programs.
