The modernization of Lincoln High School's Phase Two concentrated on seismic upgrades to the 1959 east campus buildings, which Phase One did not cover. Covering approximately 80,000 SF, the work strengthened the gymnasium, Performing Arts Center, and Career and Technical Education spaces while the school remained fully operational on the 6.72‑acre Wallingford campus. The phase was divided into two sub‑phases to minimize disruption: Phase 2A addressed seismic improvements, accessibility upgrades, locker room renovations, and roof replacement at the gym, while Phase 2B focused on seismic and interior upgrades to the PAC, auditorium, and CTE facilities. Careful planning, coordination with students and staff, and phased construction allowed classes to continue and reduced impacts on the surrounding neighborhood.
