Sacajawea Middle School
Sacajawea Middle School replacement included the construction of a new, 140,000 SF middle school located on the north side of the occupied campus. The project was delivered in three major phases over 24 months, consisting of an early site package, new middle school, demo and field development.
During this project, Lydig’s team paid special attention maintaining the safety of the students, staff members, craft workers and local residents while navigating a limited site with high traffic and visibility within the community. The building serves over 800 students with a new commercial kitchen, administration offices, gymnasium, workout facility, CTE, 40 flexible classrooms along with a music and art room.
